My name is Marco Di Marco, I hold a master's degree in Nuclear Physics obtained in the University of Bologna the oldest university in continuous operation and one of the most prestigious in the world.
I spent the first 3 years of my career in a multinational ICT consulting company where I grew from a software developer role to a Business Analyst and eventually a Project & Quality manager. The workflow system we built, still live, manages the activation and changes for several business objects (from PBX to Link and VAS, both private and corporate). I managed directly up to 15 people, spread across India and Italy.
In 2009 I began my adventure in HR Recruiting when I became Recruitment Senior Consultant in a multinational UK-Based headhunting firm. Here I was responsible for the ICT and Engineering business units in Emilia Romagna: my main responsibilities included sourcing, recruiting and managing the whole recruitment life cycle for middle and senior managers. I hired and trained a team of 2 Consultants.
In 2013, after one year in Vodafone as a Key Account Manager (corporate) I caught the opportunity to become a Recruitment Manager in an Executive Search and Headhunting firm in Rome, Italy. Here I built from scratch 2 Business Units (ICT&Digital and Engineering&Manufacturing) and managed (hired, trained, established KPIs and monitored the P&L) up to 6 teammembers.
After 3 wonderful years in Rome, I had the opportunity to join Huawei Technologies as Recruitment Manager Western Europe, so I am in Germany since August, 2016, working as Talent Acquisition Manager for 9 countries in EU with focus on senior & key talents and strategic projects.
Tech savvy, fluent English, native Italian and internediate French, I am about to start learning German, too.
I am keen to join a multinational company where my technical background and my business acumen could contribute to a solid growth and/or to consolidate a mature business internationally.
I care, lead, share and advise; able to deal with C-levels as well as white collars of any seniority
effectively.
